Our Brief Company History
Quality Control Solutions, Inc. (QCSI) has been a leader in the precision measurement and quality control industry for over four decades. Established in 1979 as Gage Master Corporation in Anaheim, California, the company set out to revolutionize the measurement industry with innovative solutions for engineers and manufacturers. Over the years, QCSI has grown from a small precision instrument provider into a global leader in advanced optical and video measurement systems, serving a variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, and jewelry.
In the early years, Gage Master Corporation made its mark with the introduction of the Series 20 Line of optical comparators, a breakthrough in precision measurement technology. By 1986, the company relocated to Temecula, California, and further expanded its capabilities with the development of the first Video Measurement System. This marked the beginning of the company’s legacy of innovation and laid the foundation for the SEEMIC and SEEBREZ product lines that would define QCSI’s reputation in the industry.
In 1995, the company was acquired by Quality Control Solutions, Inc., marking a new era of growth and expansion. Since then, QCSI has introduced groundbreaking products, including the SEEBREZ 2D/3D Video Multi-Sensor CMM and the SEEMIC 2D non-contact measurement systems, both of which remain flagship offerings today. QCSI continued to innovate with the launch of the Ergoscope® Line of ergonomic microscopes in 2011, and later, advanced stereoscopic systems like the ES-1000 and ES-500.
