Company Policies

Cancellation Policy

Canceling an order incurs a 15% cancellation fee based on the amount of the order total.

For order cancellations, we reserve the right to deduct the amount of any fees incurred from the processing of the order, such as: administrative fee, credit card processing fees, duties, taxes, or shipping fees from the final credit to the customer. A restocking fee of 25% applies to all returned items. All electronics, software, special order items, all items requiring freight, concentricity gauges and their accessories are non-refundable.

Calibration without Data

The calibration is performed with an ISO 17025:2017 Compliant Quality System. The calibration performed and results entered on the “Certificate of Calibration” includes a Pass/Fail result and tolerances for the gage. The tolerance is used in establishing the Pass/Fail result. No datapoints will be reported.

Calibration with Data

The calibration is performed with an ISO 17025:2017 Compliant Quality System. The calibration performed and results entered on the “Certificate of Calibration” includes the as found data, as left data and tolerances for each dataset. The tolerance is used in establishing the Risk Level.

Decision Rule 2

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited calibration. The calibration performed and results entered on the “Certificate of Calibration” includes the as found data, as left data, tolerances and uncertainty for each dataset. the TUR and CMC, combined with the tolerance is used in establishing the Risk Level. Quality Control Solutions, Inc.’s “decision rule” is a rule which describes how we measure uncertainty (MU) to report a numerical result as a “pass” or “fail” based on whether the result falls within the specification limits prescribed. A final decision about whether the item’s performance actually satisfies requirements of the user can only be made by the user.

On-Site Disclosure

  • If equipment cannot be calibrated and requires services, a $750.00 minimum on-site visit charge, plus travel fee, will be invoiced against original purchase order.
  • A new purchase order will be required to cover cost of service, parts as required, plus calibration and travel fee.
  • A one hour standing fee will be applied to any onsite visit, where a QCSI technician is left waiting for a period of longer than 10 minutes before or after the calibration service.
  • Most onsite orders are subject to a $750.00 minimum charge, plus travel fee.

In-House Disclosure

  • QCSI has a minimum of $150 on all in-house calibration orders.
  • If an item comes in for calibration and the battery needs to be replaced, we will replace it and add the associated costs to the invoice.
  • Standard calibration turnaround time is 5-7 business days.

ARO-Calibrate

Calibration will be scheduled after receipt of a purchase order. Expedited terms are available at an additional cost. Please request for revised quotation.

Late Fee Policy

Quality Control Solutions, Inc. (QCSI) may charge a late charge of 1.5% per month (18% per year) on all accounts that are more than 30 days overdue.

Delivery Policy

Please note that lead times are estimated. Although we make every effort to ship as quickly as possible, supply chain challenges may affect delivery/schedules. We thank you for your patience. If terms are listed as Pay in Advance lead times will not begin until payment is received.

Credit Card Policy

If paying via credit card, a 3% credit card processing fee will be charged.

Shipping

Please provide the preferred method of shipping on your purchase order. Your order may be delayed if a customer-collect account number is not provided. A $5.00 service fee, per shipment, will be applied if shipping via a customer-collect account. If you are shipping to a residential address, a customer’s signature is required for delivery.
