Each pin is manufactured from 52100 bearing-grade steel, heat-treated to 60-62 HRC for durability and stability. Except for the M0XM set, all gages are laser etched with the size, tolerance class, direction, and an individual serial number to ensure traceability and easy identification. The smooth 4 microinch or better surface finish ensures precision contact with measured surfaces and long-term reliability.
