Users can also perform pitch circle diameter calculations, intersection point construction, tolerancing, and simple reporting, making it an indispensable solution for quality control environments.
Equipped with a large 300mm x 150mm workstage range, the R400-GXL accommodates a wide variety of components, making it ideal for both small intricate parts and larger machined components. Digital angle measurement with 1-minute resolution ensures precise angular evaluation, while the 0.5 micron scale resolution supports exact linear measurements. Its horizontal light path configuration allows secure placement of workpieces on the cast iron workstage, with optional accessories available from the Baty fixture family.
The optical system is engineered for flexibility, offering quick-change snap-fit lens mounts with magnification options from 10x to 100x. Illumination includes profile lighting with a tungsten halogen lamp and helix-adjustable alignment for accurate thread projection, along with twin fiber optic surface illumination for enhanced contrast. This combination ensures clear, repeatable imaging across a wide range of inspection tasks.
Engineered for durability and repeatability, the Gage Master Optical Comparator Series 30 is built with a cast iron chrome-plated workstage, manual ultra-smooth plain rod drives, and quick-release controls.
